New Earning Apps in India (2026): How to Check One Before You Trust It
TL;DR
A new earning app in India is worth trying only if it is on the Play Store or App Store, pays a small first withdrawal (₹50 to ₹100) within a week, and never asks for a deposit. Since 1 May 2026 many "new" real-money apps are sideloaded APKs, so test before you trust.
TL;DR: A new earning app in India is worth trying only if it is on the Play Store or App Store, pays out a small amount (₹50 to ₹100) within a week of you joining, and never asks you to deposit money. Since the Online Gaming Act came into force on 1 May 2026, many "new" real-money apps you see in ads are sideloaded APKs. Test any new app with the 7-day check below before you spend real time on it.
Looking for a new earning app? Fair. Everyone wants the one that just launched, the one with the big sign-up bonus, the one your cousin's friend says pays ₹500 a day. Here is the short answer first: a new earning app is only worth your time if you can install it from the Play Store or App Store, it pays a small first withdrawal within days, and it never asks you to put money in. Anything that fails one of those three is not new. It is just a new name on an old trick.
I run an earning app, so yes, I have a bias. But I also see the other side of this market: people who lost money to a "new task app" on Telegram before they ever found a real one. This post is the checklist I wish more of them had seen first.
About PollPe, for context: PollPe is an earning app (Android, iOS, and in the browser at pollpe.app) where you earn from paid surveys, daily polls and app and game tasks. UPI withdrawals start at ₹50, and most land in under a minute. About 7 in 10 complete within five minutes, and about 98% within 24 hours. 5M+ downloads, rated 4.7 on Google Play.
Why "new earning app" searches are riskier in 2026
Something changed this year and most "top 10 new apps" lists still have not caught up.
Parliament passed the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act in August 2025 (President's assent on 22 August 2025), and the Government brought it into force, along with its Rules, on 1 May 2026. It bans online money games whether they are based on skill, chance or both. Coins and tokens that convert to money count as stakes. Banks and payment companies are not allowed to process payments for them. The Act is under challenge in the Supreme Court, so it is not settled law yet, but it is in force.
Google moved even earlier. Its Play Console policy says the grace period for real-money apps from the old India pilot ended on 22 January 2026, and those apps can only stay on Play in India if they remove real-money features.
So think about what that means. A lot of the apps that used to sit at the top of "earning app" lists are gone from the Play Store or have switched off cash. The demand did not go away though. People still search "new earning app" every day. And who fills that gap? Mostly APK download sites and Telegram channels pushing apps you cannot find on any official store.
That is the real reason a "new" app deserves more suspicion in 2026 than it did two years ago. Not because every new app is fake. Because the legal, Play-listed route for a certain kind of app has closed, and the people who still run those apps now have to reach you some other way.
What a genuinely new earning app looks like
Real new apps do launch. They tend to look boring, honestly. Here is what I would expect from a legit one in its first year:
- It is listed on Google Play or the App Store under a developer name that matches a real company website.
- The earning method is something a business would actually pay for: surveys (brands pay for opinions), app installs and game levels (advertisers pay for new users), cashback (shops pay a commission), or reselling.
- The first withdrawal threshold is low. ₹50 to ₹100 is normal for a survey or task app. A ₹1,000 minimum on a brand-new app is a warning, because most people will quit long before reaching it.
- Earnings promises are modest. Think a few hundred to a couple of thousand rupees a month for regular use, not "₹10,000 daily".
- It has a support email or in-app help that actually replies.
- Reviews mention specific withdrawals ("got ₹52 on UPI in 3 minutes") alongside real complaints (screen-outs, slow support). A mix is healthy. Only 5-star reviews is not.
Notice what is missing from that list. A huge welcome bonus. Spin wheels that pay ₹500. Earning from "liking videos". Those are not features of new apps. They are features of bait.
The 7-day test for any new earning app
This is what I tell friends. It costs nothing and it filters out almost everything bad.
Day 1: Install only from the official store. Search the app by name on Play or the App Store. If the only way to get it is an APK link from YouTube, WhatsApp or a website, stop there. Google Play Protect flagged over 27 million malicious apps sideloaded from outside Google Play in 2025. Not all of those were earning apps, obviously, but "download our APK" is the single easiest red flag to spot.
Day 1, still: Read the permissions. A survey or task app needs your phone number and maybe notifications. It does not need Accessibility access, SMS reading, or a screen-sharing app. Malware that hijacks Accessibility permission is one of the things India's cybercrime coordination centre (I4C) has warned about directly.
Days 1 to 3: Earn toward the minimum. Do whatever the app offers for 20 to 30 minutes a day. Do not pay for anything. Do not buy a "VIP plan". If the app says you need to upgrade to withdraw, you have your answer already.
Days 3 to 7: Withdraw the smallest amount allowed. This is the whole test. A real app pays a small first withdrawal without drama. If the withdrawal suddenly needs a "processing fee", "tax", "verification charge" or a top-up, close it. I4C said it plainly in July 2026: genuine platforms never ask you to deposit more money to withdraw your funds.
Day 7: Decide. Paid on time? Keep it, but still withdraw often rather than letting a balance pile up. Did not pay, or kept moving the goalposts? Uninstall, and do not chase the coins you "earned". They were never real.
Seven days. One small withdrawal. That single test beats reading 50 reviews.
Red flags that a "new" app is an old scam
Most fraud in this space follows the same script, and it has been documented for years. The I4C advisory on part-time job and task fraud describes it almost word for word: you get a small first payout to build trust, then you are pushed to do "tasks" that need you to load money, and once a big amount is in, the operator stops replying. Their note also says the UPI details on these sites change daily and the domains keep changing while the code stays the same. That last bit is exactly why the app looks "new". It is the same thing with a fresh name.
Watch for these:
- Deposit to unlock. Any app that wants money before it pays money. No exceptions.
- Telegram or WhatsApp "mentors". A real app does not need a stranger to assign you tasks in a chat group.
- Daily income claims. The government blocked over 100 task-fraud websites in December 2023, and their ads spammed lines like "Earn Rs 10,000 daily from the comfort of your home." Real earning apps talk in ranges, not in daily guarantees.
- Referral-first income. If most of the money comes from getting your friends to join and pay, that is a money circulation scheme, and those are an offence under a 1978 law.
- A dead brand with a new APK. Roz Dhan was removed from Google Play on 6 April 2025. Sites still advertise a "latest RozDhan APK" with a version number that never existed and a ₹100 bonus. Old famous name, new download link. Classic.
- Reviews that all sound the same. Google blocked 160 million spam ratings and reviews on Play in 2025. Some still get through. Sort by "most recent" and look for detail.
- No company behind it. No website, no address, no support email. Even a registered company name is not proof on its own, but no name at all is a clear no.
- Requests for OTPs or screen sharing. Never, for any app, for any reason.
- Locked balance. Your account gets "under review" the day you try to cash out, with no timeline.

New app vs established app: which should you use?
Look, I am not going to tell you never to try anything new. Some new apps are great, and every app that is established today was new once. But the trade-off is real and worth seeing side by side.
| Brand-new earning app | Established earning app | |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-up offers | Often bigger, to attract users | Smaller or none |
| Payout record | Unknown, you are the test | Thousands of withdrawals you can check in reviews |
| Risk of shutting down | Higher in year one | Lower |
| Earning methods | Sometimes unclear | Usually clear: surveys, tasks, cashback |
| Best way to use it | Small test, withdraw early | Regular use, withdraw when you hit the minimum |
My honest take: keep one or two established apps as your base, and treat new apps as experiments. Never let a new app hold more than a few hundred rupees of your balance. If it disappears tomorrow, you lose little.
Where new earning apps actually get their money from
This is the question that cuts through the noise faster than any review. Ask it about every app: who is paying for this?
If you take a survey, a brand or research agency is paying for your opinion. If you install a game and reach level 10, the game's advertiser is paying for a new player. If you buy through a cashback link, the shop pays a commission. These are real businesses with real budgets, which is why apps built on them can keep paying.
Now try it on a scam. You "like" a YouTube video and get ₹50. Who paid that ₹50? Nobody. It came from the money other victims deposited, or it is the bait before your own deposit. When you cannot find the payer, you are the payer.
This is also why "tasks" deserve a careful look. Legit app and game tasks come through partner offerwalls inside a proper app. We wrote a full breakdown of which task earning apps pay and which task setups are scams if that is what you are after.
Is it a new app, or do you actually want a website?
Quick tangent, because I see this a lot. Many people searching for a new earning app are on a phone with low storage, or on a shared family phone, and do not really want to install anything. If that is you, a browser-based option may suit you better. PollPe works at pollpe.app in any browser, same account as the app. There is a whole guide on earning websites in India that actually pay if you would rather skip the install.
How much can you realistically earn from a new earning app?
Ranges only, because anyone giving you a fixed number is guessing or selling.
For survey and task apps used 30 to 60 minutes a day, think in hundreds of rupees a month, sometimes low thousands if you stack a couple of apps and do the app and game tasks too. Indian users on Reddit's r/beermoneyindia describe figures like ₹600 a month from one survey app and around ₹1,000 from another. Where you land depends on how many surveys you qualify for (age, city and profile matter a lot), how many tasks you finish, and how regular you are. A new app with fewer partners usually sits at the lower end until it grows.
Pocket money, data recharge, a Diwali gift fund. That is the honest scale. If an app promises a salary, it is not an earning app.
What to do if a new earning app has already taken your money
It happens to careful people too. Act fast.
Call the national cybercrime helpline at 1930 or file a complaint at cybercrime.gov.in, ideally within a few hours. Speed matters because banks can sometimes hold money in the receiving account if they are told early. Keep screenshots of the app, the chats, the UPI IDs you paid, and the transaction references. Tell your bank. And do not pay anyone who calls offering to "recover" your money for a fee. That is a second scam aimed at people who just lost money to the first one.
Then uninstall the app, change any passwords you reused, and check your phone for apps you did not install.
The short version
New is fine. Unverified is not. Install from the official store, check where the money comes from, withdraw ₹50 to ₹100 inside a week, and never deposit. Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Which is the newest real money earning app in India?
A: There is no single "newest" app worth recommending blindly, because new apps launch and shut down every month. A better question is whether a new app passes the basics: listed on the Play Store or App Store, a low first withdrawal (₹50 to ₹100) that actually pays within a week, and no deposit ever.
Q: Are new earning apps safe?
A: Some are, many are not. The safe ones are on official app stores, earn from surveys, app tasks or cashback, and pay small withdrawals quickly. Treat any new app as a test: earn to the minimum, withdraw once, and only keep using it if the money arrives.
Q: Why did so many earning game apps disappear from the Play Store?
A: Google ended the grace period for real-money apps from its India pilot on 22 January 2026, and the Online Gaming Act came into force on 1 May 2026, banning online money games. Many apps either left Play or removed cash features. Real-money "new" game apps you see now are often sideloaded APKs, which carry far more risk.
Q: Is it safe to download an earning app APK from a website?
A: Generally no. Google Play Protect flagged over 27 million malicious apps sideloaded from outside Google Play in 2025. If an earning app is only available as an APK link, skip it.
Q: Do new earning apps pay through UPI?
A: Many legit ones do. UPI is the most common payout in India. PollPe, for example, pays UPI withdrawals from ₹50, and most land in under a minute. If a new app pays only to its own wallet and never lets you move money out, be careful.
Q: How do I know if a new earning app is fake?
A: The clearest sign is being asked to pay before you can withdraw: a fee, tax, verification charge or VIP plan. Other signs are Telegram or WhatsApp task groups, "₹10,000 daily" claims, income that depends on recruiting friends, and requests for OTPs or screen sharing.
Q: Can I use an earning app without installing anything?
A: Yes. Some earning apps also run in the browser. PollPe works at pollpe.app on any phone or computer browser with the same account, which helps if your phone is low on storage.
